Merus is a harsh and judgmental creature who came from the imagination of Octopus44. He has no permanent home, but can be seen soaring over the skies of Volcanic Flats. As much as he can appear to be cold and calculating, he is full of spirit and kindness.
Profile
Structure
Merus is a bit short, around 50cm standing up. He has a yellow-green plush body with a purple button eye on the right side of his face and yellow legs. His wing feathers can fuse together to form one big wing structure. He also has infinite stuffing inside. His eye sends all senses to the heart. Even though he does not have a nose, mouth or ears, he can still hear taste and smell with psychic abilities. Like any other creature in SP, his heart makes him immortal and he can also morph into anything he wants, however the default shape is the one he is seen in 99% of the time.
Abilities
Like any creature in SP, Merus has the option to use any ability or power. However he prefers harnessing light during fights. Some notable attacks are:
- Feathershot: Merus flaps his wings, shooting feathers made of light at his opponent.
- Cotton Bomb: Merus throws a large cotton ball that explodes with light and rainbow fire.
- Undone: Strings come out of Merus's wings and catch fire as they head towards the opponent. Upon catching up, they wrap the opponent as well.
- Button Blades: Merus summons buttons made of pure concentrated light from behind, each burning a different color, and hurls them at his opponent.
- Judgement Beam: Merus gathers the light within himself and focuses it on the opponent, and fires a massive concentrated beam at them. The light from the beam is blinding and burns anything close to it in blue flames.
Forms
Merus has many different forms that each have a specific role to execute a certain action.
- Super: Merus turns bronze with small flame particles following behind him, all abilities buffed
- Super 2: Merus's body turns silver and gets a light yellow follow fade effect, all abilities buffed even further
- Super 3 (Golden Judge): Merus becomes intangible with even further buffed abilities. His body becomes golden and his eye turns silver, while the other side of his face also gains an eye. A circle of burning rainbow embers starts orbiting him.

- Merus's favorite food is apples
- Merus is one of the only SP creatures with less than two eyes. However his vision is in no way impaired.
