Doogdoog is a red reed like plant that grows in jungles, mainly near sources of water such as rivers and shores.
Description
Doogdoog plants usually grow in clusters of two to three reeds per spawn. They sprout from the grass, and can grow to be around two meters on average in height. Each reed appears to be segmented around every fifty centimeters on average. There are two parts to the shell of the plant, a red outer bark, and an off white inner bark. The red bark is smooth and somewhat hard, and has a taste similar to red velvet chocolate. The inner white bark is slightly softer but also smooth, and tastes similar to white chocolate. The inside of each reed gets filled with a pastel pink like fluid that tastes just like cow milk.
Uses
Doogdoog is used a lot in sweets due to its sweet combination of flavors. Some prefer eating the bark, while others prefer harvesting the milk from the reed and drink it or use it as an ingredient in other recipes.
