Lava Lake is an area near the Volcanic Flats of SP. It is relatively flat with a large lake full of lava in the middle. There are some houses surrounding the lake, and a completely different environment below the surface characterized by it's crystal and colder feel.
Structure
The lake spans about 200 meters in width, and peaks 30 meters at its deepest point. The lava mostly stays stable and flat in the lake pit, and has a ridge surrounding it. There are a few houses made of tough sandstone surrounding the lake, but otherwise this area is mostly plain. In certain parts around the lake, there are caves and tunnels that lead to the underground. This area has ground mostly composed of a tough, ice like crystal with pink speckled crystals throughout. The crystal is also very smooth which provides a somewhat slippery surface, which is why structures built in the underground are made from Emereldium-crystal alloy bricks and materials.
Buildings in the underground provide some additional beauty as well as homing for other creatures. There are a lot of polished cylindrical pillars in tighter spaces as well.
