Listi (otherwise known as Leaf Fox) is a fox like creature whose body seems to be composed entirely of leaves. He first appeared in a dream around 2016, and was rescued from Proza Plains by M.O.G. as he was hiding from an entity located in the cave nearby (who is suspected to be Face). Since then, he has lived in SP up in Nebess Peak with his wife Abigail, who is a fox creature from Octopus15's dreams. Listi used to be somewhat more skittish and scared, but gained more bravery after his rescue. Now, he is very talkative and calm, often trying to provide guidance and loving to be part of conversations. It is for this reason his likeness was copied to be a fake "AI" as "Babbler" in ME-OS, so he can help guide the player. Along with Gontaper and Abigail, he is heavily involved in the attempt to form an outreach towards Earth.
Profile
Structure
Listi is a medium sized creature with no permanent form. Rather, he appears most of the time as a fox with orange and white leaves. Since his body is comprised almost entirely of leaf like objects, he often morphs for various reasons, but prefers to stay as a fox most of the time. He also changes colors, sometimes on occasion such as celebrating a new season (turning his leaves green from orange), or just for fun. In his most commonly seen form, he has four legs, a small nose, ears, and a puffy tail. His mouth, nose, ears and eyes send all senses to the heart. Like any other creature in SP, his heart makes him immortal and he can also morph into anything he wants (even outside of his leaf morphs), however the default shape is the one he is seen in 99% of the time.
Abilities
Like any creature in SP, Listi has the option to use any ability or power. However, as a preference, he likes using leaf based attacks. When fighting, he will often seemingly disassemble and take on multiple different forms as parts of his attacks.
Some notable attacks are:
- Slide and Smash: Listi's leaves disassemble into a winding path towards the opponent and then reconstruct Listi, so he can attack from the back.
- Fully Blown: Listi blows at his opponent, making his leaves detach and fly with their sharp edges and corners into the opponent, until he is fully formed behind the opponent at which point he can attack as well.
- Dream Cloud: Listi puffs a pink cloud towards his opponent, that continuously damages them upon collision.
- All Seasons: Listi summons orange leaves that surround the opponent and slash at them, while burning them with a small sun like orb above, freezing and slashing them from icicles spawning below, and stabbing them with roots growing from the ground.
- Tubey Fox: Listi morphs his body below his head into a cylinder and proceeds to dash towards his opponent, slashing around them and spiraling, constricting, and just generally being agile and hard to stop.
Forms
Listi has many different forms that each have a specific role to execute a certain action.
- Super: More leaves appear as Listi becomes more "full" of leaves, all abilities buffed
- Super 2: Listi becomes further packed full of leaves as long grass starts growing from the top of his head down his back (similar to a mane), abilities buffed even further
- Super 3: Listi's orange leaves turn pastel yellow and his belly leaves turn pink as pastel blue cloud like wings sprout from his back, and he becomes intangible with even further buffed abilities
- Super Pure: Listi turns into a small instance of pink colored shining light about half a meter in diameter. Collision with this very bright ball causes massive damage, nearly infinite.
Appearances
- Listi is one of the main narrators for ME-OS. He also appears as Babbler in the ME-OS Shutdown program.
Trivia
- Listi was the first creature to be dreamt up in its entirety by M.O.G..
- Listi loves sandwiches, especially those that taste like they have smoked meat in them. He also generally loves to eat food that you'd typically take with you on a hike.
