File Surfer is a file browser for MEOS. It is capable of viewing internal ME-OS files, as well as the host system files (the computer running ME-OS). It can also open several file extensions in their respective editors and applications.

When opening a music file, all other music files will be queued into a playlist in Mimi Mini.
History
File Surfer was added in version 0.0.34 of MEOS. Initially, it only had support for internal ME-OS files for a while, and was not able to open as much file types aside from text documents and photos. Later however with the addition of more applications as well as further improvements to the engine, more file type support was added. As of version 0.0.56 that came out on October 1st 2023, external files are also able to be opened, as well as even more file type support and automatic actions such as queueing automatic music playlists.
